Fun Game: How to Create Your Very Own Scavenger Clues

Scavenger hunting is one of the best team games today. It is really loved by children, teenagers, and adults as well. There are many tips and tricks you can do to make your own scavenger hunt. Allow us to share them with you for a more enjoyable real gaming experience.

1. Cut out pictures of the hidden locations such a photo of a long chair, table, shelf, cabinet, or vase. Cut the photo clue in several pieces depending on the age of the hunters. For beginners of children, you can cut a picture from a magazine depicting the clue to around 5 to 8 pieces, 8-15 pieces for teenagers, and 15-20 pieces for adults depending on the size of the picture as well.

2. You can use rhymes to create your own clues to make it more special. For example: "one, two, three trees under the Christmas tree! You'll find a gift, so give me a lift!" It means that the clue can be found under the Christmas tree. It's a gift!

3. Create your own christmas scavenger hunt riddles by also using rhymes such as "Go to the place, that you can find some chairs, the clue is hidden on the?", and the answer is stairs! Rhyming words make it easier for hunters to decipher the clue. If you want them to be hard up then just be inventive when using words, but not too hard though because it may take hours for them to find out.

4. You can also write down instructions backward and the hunters can get a mirror to read it in order to decipher the code.

5. Use your imagination and use colors to give a scavenger hunt clue such as, "Roses are red. I like a red pillow. The clue is under the?", and the answer is a bed!

6. You can also use numbers and letters to generate codes such as replacing alphabets with numbers. For example 1 for A, 2 for B, and so on.

7. Associate the scavenger hunt clues to food if you are pertaining to something that can be found in the kitchen or something that can be eaten. For example, "I like Nutella on my sandwich. When it rains, I like bringing my?", and the answer is an umbrella.  For more facts and information about scavenger hunt, you can go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s7IQujzPPtM.
